OMS GEMS Data

Using exclusive data from OMS’s satellite, we are offering the world’s first commercial microwave radiometer data. Sign up below and you will be directed to a page to immediately download data. GEMS1 dataset includes 8 spectral channels around the 118.7503 GHz Oxygen Resonance line with sensitivity from the surface to 18km altitude. Each of the 8 channels includes a Level 1C brightness temperature measurement in Kelvin. The approximate swath of the instrument is 1500 kilometers with a spatial resolution of 16 kilometers. The example data set includes data images, a HDF5 and GeoTiff file. Talk to us and we can provide a longer duration of data. We also offer monthly data sets. Our data is Level 1C antenna brightness data. Level 2 and 3 data sets will be available in the coming weeks. By registering now, we will notify you when Level 2 and 3 data is available.
